Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy


By booking directly with the Cambridge Motels Group, their Motel, Motel websites or online booking channels you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.


The Motel reserves the right to refuse service and cancel any reservation that does not meet the following terms and conditions. You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. To stay at the Cambridge Motel, a person under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, A valid credit card and photo ID will be required on arrival if requested. If a valid credit card is not presented a cash bond of up to $200 is required.

All payments are accepted only in AUD $ (Australian Dollars) and GST is inclusive.


Bookings may be cancelled up to 2.00pm (local time) 1 day prior to arrival with no penalty.
After that time the total value of the accommodation stay will be charged to the credit card on file. One night will be charged for persons who do not check-in on the date of their booking (no-shows) 
*Please Note: This Cancellation Policy does NOT apply to Special Discounted or Promotional Rates – refer to the Cancellation Policy on your confirmation email that will be specific to your booking.



For example: Advanced Purchases Rates, multiple night stays and “Stay 2 and Save” Advance purchase and other specials will be charged at time of booking. Advance purchase and other specials are non-refundable or transferable to another date.


Check-in time is 2.00 pm.

Check-out time is 10.00 am.

Changes to check-in or check-out times can be arranged in advance directly with the hotel, changes are subject to availability and may incur a fee.


A valid credit card and photo ID will be required on arrival.

If a valid credit card is not presented a cash bond of up to $200 is required. Payment by third party credit cards (Charge Back) may be arranged in advance by contacting the hotel directly.


Full payment for your stay will be charged within 24 hours of arrival unless stated otherwise.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express all incur a surcharge of 2% for each transaction. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars, per room, per night and includes GST.


Cambridge Motels Group guarantee all guests will get the Best Available Rate when they book directly with the hotels either by phone, email or on the hotel’s own web sites. The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates or advance purchase offers. The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply if the lower rate is achieved via a currency conversion and when comparing rates both rates must have tax included or tax excluded to ensure a fair comparison.


Group bookings of 5 rooms or more require a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking with the balance charged 7 days prior to arrival.


All third-party bookings websites (eg. have their own cancellation policies. If a booking is made via a third party, the conditions of that booking entity will be adhered to. Please note that these may be different from the motel’s booking conditions.


At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked, unless prior approval is sought and given by management. The use of extra beds other than the number booked will attract an additional tariff. Any persons exceeding the maximum occupancy of the property will be considered trespassers and will be evicted.


Cambridge Motels Group considers children to be from 4 and 16 years. 0-4 Years can stay at no additional charge if they are in their own cot. Using existing bedding and Portable cots are an additional charge and are subject to availability, Portable cots only be used in certain room types.


One complimentary car park is available for each room. Guests are responsible for the security of their car parked at the motel. Management does not accept liability for loss or damage to cars and their contents. Buses are welcomed to park in the carpark.


All guests will be liable for any loss or damage to their accommodation room and its contents including extraordinary cleaning, fair wear and tear accepted. Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to Management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full which will be deducted from the guest’s credit card or deducted from the guest’s refundable deposit. Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged to the guest’s credit card. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or properties. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.


All guests agree to pay the rate quoted for the entire stay and any additional charges that are billed to the room before, during or after the stay; including but not limited to mini-bar, room service and food and beverage outlets.

All hotels in Australia are non-smoking. Any guest smoking in their room may be asked to leave the hotel and will incur a charge of $400 for having the room off-line for cleaning and deodorising.


You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses, and disruptions due to electrical storms, or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.
